This information is provided when the correct certification number is indicated. for each bargaining unit. If you would like more information about a trading unit or security, including managers and/or confidential names that exclude employees from certain positions, please look for BOC`s decisions here or on Lexis. There are currently 83 bargaining units under the jurisdiction of the Board of Certification (“BOC”), which are listed below in alphabetical order by familiar name. In the context of a representation procedure before the BOC, a bargaining unit is referred to by its certification number. and its familiar name. The certification number. indicates the decision that the union (s) initially certified as an exclusive representative of the unit`s negotiations. For your comfort, we also list the corresponding CBU number. used by the New York City Department of CityWide Services (“DCAS”) in other contexts.

To see a list of public service titles that are included in each trading unit, click on the familiar name of the unit. The city-wide contract, which is still in effect in 2018, deals with general working conditions and other wage conditions. Issues such as time and leave, the right to health insurance, staffing and salary practices, and overtime are negotiated under the citywide Contract. The Citywide Contract is described as non-economic because it does not set salaries, but it has an impact on members` paperbacks. For example, public holidays, annual holidays, extra hours, meal and car allowances, and differences in shift work are fixed. Non-mayoral agencies: (z.B. Transit Authority, Housing Authority, Board of Ed and CUNY.) The city-wide contract does not cover these workers. Talk to your union representative or local president for contracts for these agencies. If you ask for information, please provide your title and agency. . .
